Natarajasana (90 min)
Class Description
Natarajasana, or Dancer pose, is a yoga posture that requires balance, strength, and flexibility. In a Natarajasana yoga class, students can expect to warm up the body with gentle stretching and strengthening exercises before moving into the posture itself. The class may focus on opening the hips, shoulders, and quadriceps to prepare the body for the full expression of Natarajasana. Students may also work on building core strength and stability to help them find their balance in the pose. The teacher may offer modifications and variations to accommodate students of different levels and abilities. Props such as blocks or straps may be used to help students access the posture more comfortably.
